Routine Calibration Data

On most nights, RATIR takes routine calibration data:

  • Proposal 2012A-0006 visit 0.

Ten 0-second biases with each CCD. The H2RGs do not have shutters or dark slides, so we cannot take biases with them.

  • Proposal 2012A-0007 visit 0.

Ten 80-second darks with each CCD. The H2RGs do not have shutters or dark slides, so we cannot take darks with them.

  • Proposal 2012A-0008 visit 0.

Bright twilight flats in each filter. Underexposed and overexposed images may be present.

  • Proposal 2012A-0008 visit 1.

Faint twilight flats in each filter, typically with less exposure than the bright flats.

These proposals are public. The images can be identified and downloaded from the archive.
